Hawaii 2006 - Welcome back

Our welcome back to Wisconsin was so bad we have to laugh. Dan picked us up at the airport Saturday morning after the lousy looong plane ride with not enough sleep and kinks in the neck. He packed his stuff and headed for home and Bob and I were considering a long nap.... when we got a knock on our door. Our neighbor, Larry, says "your horses just chased my cows out of my pasture and into the woods across the street. I can't get near the red and white one. He's feisty. Can you come get them so I can bring my cows back?" Then the phone rang. It's Dan. His car is having trouble. Can we help? Sorry, Dan, you are on your own.

The rest of the day was spent chasing horses. We found the automatic watering system was frozen, which is probably why they went off exploring. So back to the watering trough. We locked them in for the night. Tommorrow, we'll be mending fences.
